Melisa Rabanales

Periodista guatemalteca basada en Buenos Aires. Mi trabajo se centra en el periodismo sobre violencias, migración y derechos humanos.

Parte del colectivo de Revista Crisis. En 2022 recibí el Premio Gabo junto al equipo del proyecto “No fue el Fuego”. En los últimos años trabajé como periodista digital para Radio Ambulante Studios. 

Mis reportajes han aparecido en AJ+ Español, BBC Mundo, Revista Crisis, The Guardian, Vice, Buenos Aires Herald y CLIP, entre otros. 

Guatemalan journalist based in Buenos Aires. My work focuses on multimedia reporting on violence, migration, and human rights. In 2022, I received the Gabo Award as part of the team behind the project “No fue el Fuego.” Over the past three years, I worked as a digital journalist for Radio Ambulante Studios. I currently collaborate with outlets such as AJ+ Español and Revista Crisis and my work has appeared in BBC Mundo, The Guardian, Vice, Buenos Aires Herald, and CLIP, among others.
